Regarding your your last statement: Untrue. If you want to get elected, you don’t want to be Catholic. The last Catholic to get elected before Obama was was Kennedy, and before John: NO ONE ELSE. ;)

I know what it means to be a Christian. I was one for the first part of my life, and I was a “good Christian.” Turns out you don’t need a god to be a good person. You actually don’t need one at all! They tell you that you do though. It’s hilarious.
But anyway, my beef is not with Christians, but with all established religion and with what people DO based on those beliefs. When will you learn that all monotheisms are the same?
Just saying…Obama could run it better if he were an atheist because he’d truly be able to stick to that very important little section in the constitution re: separation of church and state. (A true athiest wouldn’t want a mosque ANYWHERE, most likely.)
We see what happens to countries when they’re ruled by religious law/leaders… it’s not pretty.
Recent example: Bush believes in Jesus and the End of Days… look what he did to us! Greedy vacation-taking, war-starting bastard. See how many people have struggled, died, and lost their limbs because of his ridiculous “christian nation at war with muslim terrorism” decisions?
